My current goals with Muay Thai are to be the best fighter I can possibly be!
I started training Muay Thai in about 2004 or so until 2006 (took a looong break with some training here and there). I took privates and got a feel for the basics. I was interested in combat sports, and my friend Ken Perry (RIP) was a coach, so I called him up and got started. I met Justin later at Daddis when it was on Juniper St. I instantly fell in love with Muay Thai, and to this day it helps me be the most healthy and confident I can be-when I train is when I feel most connected spiritually to whatever put me here on earth.
Last summer (2014), my friend Cristen mentioned she was training with Justin, and that he had his own gym. After a couple emails with Justin, I came to Stay Fly. A few months later,I decided it was finally time I stepped up to the plate to fight-it had always been a dream to. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Justin and the team at Stay Fly, and the community surrounding us for the support that not only I receive, but that we give each other. I wanted a gym, and I got more family. Without trust in Justin and he gym, I never would've opened my mouth about my fighting goals-and so glad I did! HERE'S TO THE FUTURE FIGHTERS FIGHT!
