Spring is a time for growth - Stay Fly Muay Thai - Philadelphia

The sun is shining brighter. The days are getting longer. The air is smelling sweeter. Colors appear more vibrant. The workouts are burning hotter. The Spring is upon us.
Springtime is the time of year that everything grows, and Stay Fly Muay Thai is no exception. In the last couple of months, we’ve been making moves to build a few new things.  As the year is heating up, Stay Fly Muay Thai is getting to be cooler than ever. There have been some big additions to our schedules, a few new and returning faxes, and a few new programs that we have to offer.

Let me first tell you about the new MUAY THAI FOR KIDS program. We will offer 4 classes each week. Monday and Wednesday evening at 5pm, and Saturday & Sunday morning at 10am are for the kiddos. We know the young ones have schedules that change during the year. So, to suit that, our new program is a no-commitment monthly enrollment for $99/month. More weekly classes and more instructors to teach the young ones means that the students will see rapid improvements in their technique proficiency, self-discipline and focus. Bonus 50% off the first month for the first 10 enrolled students. Enroll your young one today and snag the deal.

Next, let me tell you about the new Strength & Conditioning program updates. We have new classes and new enrollment options.  We will now be offering a Strength & Conditioning class every Mon-Thur at 7pm in addition to our normally scheduled Strength & Conditioning classes. That’s 13 Strength & Conditioning classes every week!  Thursday evenings at 7pm will be a new Advanced Combat Conditioning class led by our S&C coach Shawn Langdon. This class will focus on building the muscular strength, stamina, & cardiovascular conditioning necessary to perform at an optimal level in the ring. This class is available only to students enrolled in the Advanced Muay Thai membership.

Also, a very warm “Welcome Back!” to our favorite kettlebell demon, Nikki “Kik” McCrae. Kik will be teaching Kettlebell classes as part of the Strength & Conditioning program every Wednesday at 7pm and Saturday at 10am.

Lastly, I want to tell you all about our new Boxing Program. Professional boxer Isaiah Wise is the latest addition to the Stay Fly Muay Thai staff.  Isaiah will be teaching a 30-minute boxing class Tuesday-Friday evenings at 5:30pm. We will hopefully be growing this program to include more and longer classes and offer a boxing only membership in the near future. As for now, it’s all included as part of the value we offer our students as being part of the Stay Fly Muay Thai family.

Please let us know what additional things you would like to see made as possible changes to the curriculum  at Stay Fly Muay Thai. We’re always looking to accommodate students’ requests and build a schedule that best suits their needs.

Bring your A game, homies, cuz our schedule is gearing up to be a real butt-kicker. Lazies and softies beware!

Thailand trip to Khongsittha with Justin!

Hey party animals,
It’s just about that time! We’re gearing up to be headed to Khongsittha this 3/12-3/27 for a 2-week camp hosted by yours truly!

It is going to be a blast. Khongsittha is located in the Bangkok area with easy access to downtown. The amenities are comfortable and the training is right!

If you’ve ever wanted to make the pilgrimage to the Mecca of the greatest sport in the world, this is the trip for you. We will be going to visit some awesome places nearby and training our faces off. It will be a good balance of some sightseeing paired with training at a top level Muay Thai gym.

Flights are still super cheap, but going to just get a little pricier as the time gets closer. I would check sites like Kayak for flights. Be sure to check the price of flights from JFK and EWR (Newark) to see if you can grab a deal.

Here’s a little info on the camp. Check it out!

Get there!!!
