My Goals: I train to fight. I like to try and always challenge myself. I try to get fights against guys with better records and more experience than me. Being the smaller guy or underdog has always gotten me more amped up to meet the challenge. My main goal for Muay Thai right now is to get back to being actively fighting. After a long layoff to return to school I have finally been able to start consistent hard training again.
I started training Muay Thai because it stood out to me as the most hardcore striking sport. I was attracted to the violence and brutality that the sport had to offer. I was involved in Judo and wrestling when I was younger and always wanted to do something with a focus on striking. Like many people I first found out about Muay Thai from the 1989 JCVD masterpiece Kickboxer and when I turned 17 I started training.
Stay Fly is a great gym that has a great deal to offer for both beginners and experienced fighters. The instruction is top notch and the facility has pretty much everything you could ever need to maximize your training.
